Race to catch the last nazist
The Race to Catch the Last Nazis is a documentary following the work of the Central Office for the Investigation of National Socialist Crimes under the German State Justice. The aim of the Central Office is to bring to justice the last living German who served the Nazi genocide. The film is shot over three trips to interview, collect footage, document the ongoing investigation and bring to life the incredibly dramatic and complex case of Irmgard Furchner, the former secretary of the Stutthof concentration camp, Oskar Gröning, known to the world as the accountant of Auschwitz and the ukrainian Ivan/John Demjanjuk, a former camp guard convicted of Nazi crimes.
